Crypto Candidate E2: Clean Kill Through the Full Pipeline

Did the first Scout-originated crypto candidate survive preregistered validation?

CRYPTO-E2 was the first candidate to travel the entire pipeline: discovered by Scout, checked for data capability, preregistered with frozen parameters, then evaluated.

Result: killed cleanly across every major gate — with the out-of-sample data left untouched.

What this means: the pipeline can take an attractive story from discovery to a defensible NO in weeks, before it costs months of development or a single public claim. The OOS data remains unburned for future hypotheses.

What this does NOT mean: a verdict on crypto as a class — it is a verdict on one preregistered mechanism, recorded permanently.
